Light Bright and Airy

Creating spaces doesn't have to break the bank. Refurbished DIY furniture projects are game changers!

This is the finished project of our dining room nook. This table, when we got it for free on #offerup, was falling apart and the wood stain looked like it was from the 50's.

Design with Ease

“Designing your home doesn't have to break the bank. Well made furniture with solid wood and good bones can be turned into beautiful, modern pieces to fit in your space.”

We ended up sanding the table down and painting it fully white. Last minute decision we decided to re-sand the top and stain it with a #naturalwood stain.

#DIY Furniture Restoration

An electric sander is a good investment if you're planning to #refurbish more than one piece of furniture and if you have a lot of surface area to cover. We got ours from #HomeDepot, it was about $50.

The top of the table was coming apart so we had to get brackets to put the pieces together. All in all, if you find a table that has solid wood, and good bones you can turn your furniture into trendy, chic pieces that look beautiful in the space!

“I love refurbishing old furniture rather than buying new. It has a story that needs to be told. Furniture carries an energy and turning something that someone was going to throw away into something beautiful and unique feels so good!”
